Dental Cabinets

Mid-Way Cabinet specializes in dental cabinetry, and in working with you, the dentist or dental hygienist. We offer a wide variety of services that take you from start to finish on a simple office remodel to construction of a new office.

Mid-Way modular cabinets create a modern, productive environment for your dental office. We work with you from the beginning planning stage through final installation. The result is a professional dental office designed around your needs and requirements

Dental Remodeling

We have over 30 years' experience in designing specifically for dental offices. Our designers work with you to develop a plan that both maximizes your practice efficiency and is aesthetically pleasing.

The Remodeling Process

Typically, our designer will visit your office, or review your plans to get the dimensions of your space. We then work interactively with you to develop a plan that matches your practice needs and workflow. These plans are drawn on our computer, and the designs are matched to our extensive catalog of cabinets. Our catalog includes all modern dental methods and equipment. Specially made cabinets are also available if needed. There is no charge to you for this design work.

When the contract between you and Mid-Way is signed, the plans are released to you or your contractor, and the cabinets are cut and assembled directly from the designs stored in the computer. This eliminates the chances for costly errors and delays.

Cabinet design is in accordance with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations.

Our cabinets are also modular, removable and serially numbered, so they are considered your property rather than a leaseholder's should you move or sell your practice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an architect or designer to remodel my office?

If the remodel doesn't involve structural changes (i.e. moving walls, plumbing or electrical) Mid-Way can work with you to design the remodel to your specifications. However, if the work is extensive, or does require structural changes, we recommend you work with a qualified designer or architect who specializes in dental work. We can supply a list of individuals we have worked with in the past for you.

How long will the construction disrupt my practice?

This depends, of course, on the scope of the work. Some jobs may only take two or three days, while extensive work may require two to three weeks. It all depends on whether there is structural work, how many cabinets are being installed, and access to your office during off hours.

What can be done to minimize this disruption?

Our installers can work evenings and weekends, or can block off areas to be worked on, leaving the rest of the office functional. Of course this extends the total installation time and increases your cost.

Where can I see a real office that you have done?

You should contact our sales staff for information on seeing our work.

Why should I buy from Mid-Way vs. going with a pre-fab cabinet?

Mid-Way Cabinets are designed and built at our factory in Lodi, CA. This means substantial savings over other cabinets when you at total costs, and consider quality of construction. Should your circumstances require custom work, this can be done onsite as well. Mid-Way specializes in dental cabinetry, and the product catalog reflects current dental practice methods and equipment.
